Whitney School Newspaper Coming Soon

Mrs. Ambroziak is starting a before-school newspaper club for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders!  Newspaper Club will meet TWO Fridays per month at 8:30 AM in Room 20. If students are NOT able to attend these, they should NOT complete the Interest Form linked on the STREAM of the Google Classroom. NOTE: These are the same days that Student Council meets, so kids cannot do both. This will allow more kids to participate in extracurriculars. In addition, there will be a "Behavior Clause," which means students will need to uphold Whitney PRIDE to participate. If interested, students should join the Google Classroom so the number of students involved can be determined. PLEASE NOTE: We may not be able to accept every student that is interested. That is the purpose of this form:) We will set an enrollment limit after Student Council has selected its members.

The Student Council plays a very important role in every school.  They help share students' ideas, interests, and concerns with the teachers and principal.  They help the students raise funds for school wide projects and assist the community when they are in need of aid.  Being on the Student Council is something that will help our students become responsible and active members of the community.
